Our take on OVERVIEW (A Walk Through The Universe)
The presentation foregrounds cinematic narration and cosmic scale, while the hands-on portion centers on two exploration activities and a live Solar System model. Its scope is closer to an interactive documentary than a broad collection of space activities.
What is OVERVIEW (A Walk Through The Universe)?
OVERVIEW is an interactive documentary about the scale of the cosmos, combining narration, cinematic sequences, and astronomical imagery based on data from NASA, ESA, and other agencies.
Its narrated presentation runs for 30+ minutes, moving from Earth toward the Cosmic Web. The interactive activities include a scale view that zooms from Earth to the galaxy and beyond, plus free-roaming exploration of the eight planets, hundreds of moons, and thousands of comets and asteroids. A live Solar System model is also included. The French edition features narration by astronaut Jean-François Clervoy. The project was made in partnership with the French Astronomy Association and is powered by SpaceEngine.
