Our take on Overlord II
The store copy gives substantial space to mounts, mistresses, war machines, creatures, and multiple minion roles. Its clearest playable core is directing minions through combat while choosing between village domination and environmental destruction.
What is Overlord II?
Overlord II is an RPG about directing groups of minions under a new Dark Master.
Its objectives include attacking the Glorious Empire and reviving the Netherworld. Players can pursue domination by subjugating villages and using their inhabitants as an unwilling workforce, or destruction by demolishing cities, forests, and Imperial camps. Minions can ride wolves and other magical creatures, collect weapons from defeated enemies, loot houses, operate war machines, and infiltrate enemy camps. Four minion types provide different roles: Browns fight directly, Reds launch fireballs, Greens use stealth, and Blues revive fallen minions. Enemies include Imperial soldiers, Yetis, Elves, villagers, and other creatures.
