O. R. L. D game engine, as its augmented-reality effects bring characters and creatures from earlier games into Tokyo. Reiji, the group’s part-time director, discovers an unsettling version of Asakusa while testing the program and becomes involved in a threat that could overwrite the district. The visual novel combines a story about game development with a recreation of Asakusa, where elements from fictional worlds gradually appear. Its presentation includes illustrated character scenes, detailed environments, and CG artwork. During moments when Reiji becomes flustered, the Selection Of Soul system presents emotional responses on screen. Choosing among those options changes the dialogue as the group attempts to restore the boundary between the real world and fiction.
