What is Otem's Defiance?
Otem’s Defiance is a dodge-and-shoot action game set in ring-shaped arenas.
Otem, a child chosen as a tribal sacrifice, must evade attacks, traps, and obstacles while collecting power-ups and firing energy orbs at the Ringods. The game includes more than 16 Ringods, each with three difficulty levels, distinct attack patterns, and debuffs. Five locations contain over 36 Rings, while the difficulty rises from very easy to extremely challenging. Controls cover running, dodging, jumping, and shooting, with battles requiring quick reflexes. Progression unlocks new abilities, and boss encounters feature the Shaman. Level performance receives ratings, and more than 30 Steam Achievements are included. An animated comic reveals the story as progress is made.
