Our take on One by One
Weapons reload while unequipped, making weapon swaps part of the combat structure rather than a pause for reloading.
What is One by One?
One by One is a roguelike shooter set in a world of phobias.
Players descend into procedural dungeons, including crystal caverns, fiery forests, and robot facilities, and fight creatures and bosses. Rescued adventurers and characters with different play styles offer character choices. Weapons, activatable equipment, accessories, companions, and artifacts can be collected and combined to customize a loadout. A soul companion targets weakened enemies, while weapons reload when unequipped. Monsters encountered in the dungeons can become domesticated and appear in a bestiary. The game also includes hard mode and permadeath, along with a speedrun mode for challenging friends.
