Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long campaign may bounce off the five-level structure

- Players looking for climbing, exploration, or puzzle-focused action may find the platforming scope too narrow
Our take on October Panic
The bounce point arrives before the first restart: progress cannot be saved or loaded, so a failed attempt means beginning the run again. Players who expect a campaign divided into sessions will encounter that restriction immediately, while the five-level format suits a single uninterrupted playthrough.
What is October Panic?
October Panic is an arcade-style platformer set during a Halloween curse.
October travels through five levels toward a haunted house while fighting more than 30 enemy types, including pumpkins, skeletons, witches, werewolves, mummies, and other horror-themed foes. Five monster masks can be collected and worn, with each mask providing a distinct ability. The game is structured as one complete playthrough: saving and loading are not available. Its presentation combines Halloween imagery with spooky electro-swing and references to classic movie monsters. The story follows Rita the Re-animator's attempt to revive her father, which tears open a rift and fills a nearby town with supernatural enemies.
