- Players looking for a large open-world adventure rather than exploration centered on one mysterious inn
Our take on Observo
Players who want to carry every useful object will hit the wall at the limited inventory, where choices must be made about what stays with Edgar and what goes into the item box. Those expecting constant fighting may also bounce off the light-combat structure.
What is Observo?
Observo is a third-person survival horror game set in a roadside inn hiding a dangerous mystery.
Edgar, traveling on business, must explore the building and escape after strange events put him in danger. Progress involves obtaining items, collecting documents, and solving puzzles while navigating fixed-camera scenes. Hostile figures can be confronted with makeshift weapons or avoided by running and dodging. Inventory space is limited, requiring careful decisions about what to carry and what to leave in the item box. The game includes light combat, manual saving at save points, an original soundtrack, and an atmosphere inspired by early-2000s survival horror games.
