Our take on Christmas Horror
The defining constraint is a single unsaved escape attempt while carrying only one item at a time and moving more slowly than Santa.
What is Christmas Horror?
Escape from Santa’s house before he completes a ritual that will take the player’s soul.
Christmas Horror is a short first-person horror shooter in which scattered items provide the means to leave. The player can pursue two escape routes or attempt to end Santa permanently, although the method is not immediately known. Playing as a child imposes restrictions: only one item can be carried at a time, and movement is slower than Santa’s. Santa’s pursuit adds pressure while the house is searched for useful objects. There is no save system, so the escape attempt must be completed in a single run.
How Christmas Horror plays
- 01Two Escape Routes
- The game offers two different ways to leave Santa’s house.
- 02Santa Confrontation
- A separate objective allows an attempt to destroy Santa permanently.
- 03One-Item Carrying
- The child character can transport only one object at a time.
- 04Single Attempt
- With no save system, progress cannot be stored between attempts.
