Our take on NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Zenkokuban
The store copy foregrounds the historical setting, named leaders, and 50-kingdom objective, but gives little information about the decisions, systems, or turn-to-turn structure that shape the campaign.
What is NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Zenkokuban?
Select a leading figure from Japan’s historical era, such as Nobunaga Oda, Shingen Takeda, or Kenshin Uesugi, and attempt to place all 50 Japanese kingdoms under a single authority.
The campaign covers the country’s territory between its northern and southern extremes. Originally launched in 1986, Nobunaga’s Ambition-Nation was the series’ second installment and the first to receive an overseas release, where it was titled Nobunaga’s Ambition. This edition is included in the Kou Shibusawa Archives, a Steam Store collection created for the producer’s 35th anniversary.
