Our take on NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Ranseiki with Power Up Kit
Real-time battles sacrifice the deliberate pauses of turn-based combat, while the campaign stays tied to one historical setting. The result places greater emphasis on managing ongoing battles within Japan’s Warring States period than on changing combat tempo or location.
What is NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Ranseiki with Power Up Kit?
This expanded edition of the 2001 ninth NOBUNAGA’S AMBITION game is a strategy simulation set during Japan’s Warring States period.
Players take the role of a powerful daimyo and fight to unify the country. Battles use real-time combat rather than the turn-based system of the earlier version. The game adds seven forces that shaped the period beyond the daimyo: the Imperial Court, temples and shrines, the navy, independent cities, ninja groups, landowners, and the Bakufu.
