The bounce point arrives when armored enemies enter the fight. Rifles and SMGs are not suited to those targets, so players must switch to stronger firearms or specialized gadgets; sticking with a familiar weapon becomes a deliberate handicap.
What is Nitro Express?
Nitro Express is a 2D side-view action game set in an alternate Tokyo.
Players control members of the Atypical Vehicle Disposal Squad, a police unit tasked with destroying dangerous autonomous drones. Shooting uses 360-degree free aiming, while weapon performance changes with movement and positioning: smaller firearms work while walking, whereas heavier guns benefit from standing still. Armored enemies such as tanks and helicopters require stronger weapons or specialized gadgets. The game includes grenades, an EMP, remote-controlled drones, automated turrets, flamethrowers, anti-tank missiles, and other equipment, with 12 gadgets in total. Stage dialogue is delivered through optional police radio communications that can be accessed at any time. Settings include language, display size, screen shake, and key configuration.
