Our take on Ninjin: Clash of Carrots
Players looking for deliberate exploration may bounce off when combat shifts into rapid enemy waves, rocket dodges, and boss fights. The equipment system also becomes a stopping point for anyone uninterested in sorting through more than 150 weapons, projectiles, upgrades, masks, and related items.
What is Ninjin: Clash of Carrots?
Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up set in an anime-inspired feudal Japan.
Players choose Ninjin, a rabbit, or Akai, a ninja fox, then fight through multiple stages to recover carrots taken by Shogun Moe. Carrots can be exchanged for equipment and customization items, including weapons, masks, swords, projectiles, and upgrades. Combat includes dodging rockets, defeating groups of enemies, and battling bosses. Story Mode follows a cast of characters across several environments. Two-player co-op supports both online and local play while progressing through the story. The Oni TV Show survival mode sends solo players or pairs against successive enemy waves and awards special rewards for completed stages.
