The run structure makes repeated attempts central, while equipment carryover is limited to one chosen item after a clear. That creates a trade-off: some progress persists between runs, but the full equipment loadout does not.
What is Ninja Soul?
Ninja Soul is a platform action game with roguelite runs.
Kunoichi Tachibana Yachiyo can return after death and fights through levels in search of the truth about her former hometown. Levels vary between runs, with different enemies and treasures to encounter. Hidden chests reward exploration, while treasure skills and attributes can be combined to alter skill range and form. Combat can focus on fast blade duels or on building around treasure combinations, katana skills, and ninjutsu. Kunai can interrupt an enemy’s attack, followed by an Iisen pursuit. After clearing a run, players choose one piece of equipment for permanent fusion and use its ability in a later run. Enemies become more difficult after each clear.
