Our take on Nimbus INFINITY
The presentation gives equal weight to a large science-fiction premise and fast combat, but the practical play structure remains less defined. The clearest specifics concern weapons, environments, and story setting, while the overall progression and range of activities are harder to judge from the available description.
What is Nimbus INFINITY?
Nimbus INFINITY is a mech action game set on Earth and in space around the year 2100, 21 years after Project Nimbus.
Players control Battle Frames, humanoid machines that can be equipped with different weapons and defensive tools. Loadouts may include handguns, rifles, missiles, cannons, decoys, and camouflage. Combat includes guns, missiles, and melee attacks, with new enemy types requiring quick decisions. The game moves through glittering cities, deserts, space colonies, and other battlefields with environmental gimmicks. Its story follows Taiyo, a young delivery worker whose encounter with a fallen Battle Frame draws him into a conflict involving Earth, space colonies, and the future of humanity.
