ActionIs Inbound worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- VR players who enjoy arcade games centered on defending locations from incoming attacks
- Fans of missile-defense games who want to aim and time shots against multiple threats
- Friends who want to compete for high scores across several worlds
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who prefer measured planning may hit a wall when projectiles, mechs, and spacecraft attack in quick succession.
- Players looking for a broad campaign may find the four-world, high-score structure too limited in scope.
- Players who do not want two-handed VR arcade action may not suit its play style.
Our take on Inbound
The pressure point comes when projectiles, ground assaults, and spacecraft attacks overlap. Players who depend on slowing the action will also have to manage its limited supply; once it runs low, aiming and quick reactions remain the main tools for handling the attacks.
What is Inbound?
Inbound is a VR arcade-action game about defending four asteroid colonies from attacks.
Players take the role of a defense commander and fire phaser volleys to destroy incoming projectiles. They also face ground assaults from mechs and attacks by enemy spacecraft. A time-distortion control slows the action, but its supply is limited. The game uses two-handed play and calls for steady aim and quick reflexes as threats arrive. Its four included worlds support high-score competition with friends. The gameplay draws on missile-defense arcade games and puts players above each colony in a virtual-reality setting.
How Inbound plays

- 02Limited time distortion
