RPGIs Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Roguelike players who accept permanent consequences for fallen heroes
- Strategy players who enjoy managing a shared resource across a hero team
- Dungeon crawlers who want changing floors, bosses, traps and random events
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want defeated heroes to return will hit the permanent-death system.
- Players who prefer fixed turn cycles may bounce off combat governed by elapsed time and timed card draws.
- Players seeking a fixed dungeon layout may find randomly generated floors and events unsuitable.
- Players looking for a game centered on a single character may not fit its team-based hero structure.
Our take on Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes
The bounce point comes when a favored hero dies permanently, or when the shared mana pool forces a choice between casting now and saving resources. Players who prefer conventional turns and recoverable mistakes may stop at those systems.
What is Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes?
Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes combines roguelike dungeon exploration, RPG party building, turn-based tactics and collectible spell cards.
Combat is based on elapsed time rather than ordinary turns, with a new card entering the hand every 6 seconds. Players choose from attacks, defense, position changes, hero spells and hand-held spells. Each spell uses mana, which is shared by the whole team and accumulates during combat. Heroes have individual perks, one spell and three attributes: strength, dexterity and endurance.
A selection of 20 cards is prepared before battle. Heroes can be found and improved, while coins are used to buy new spells. Dungeons contain randomly generated floors, bosses, enemies, traps and random events. A hero’s death is fatal, so party choices carry permanent consequences.
How Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes plays
- 01Timed Card Draws
- Combat adds another card to the hand after each 6-second interval.

- 03Hero Attributes
- Every hero has a perk, a spell, and strength, dexterity and endurance statistics.
- 04Random Dungeon Floors
- Each dungeon uses generated floors and places a boss at the end of every floor.
- 05Permanent Death
