Our take on Nations
Rather than centering on a single war or a compact political period, the game places state management across centuries at the core. Military expansion is one route among economic, social, legal, diplomatic, and covert choices, while custom nations and scenarios add another departure from a fixed campaign structure.
What is Nations?
Nations is a real-time strategy game about ruling a country from ancient times through the modern day and beyond.
Players choose an era and nation, then manage food, consumer goods, safety, resources, buildings, industry, society, and laws. Military expansion and territorial growth offer alternatives to internal development, while diplomacy and alliances address foreign threats. Agents can conduct covert actions to sabotage enemies or build influence in other lands. Connected problems can destabilize a state when people lack essential goods or safety. The game is in early access. Current modding tools let players create custom nations, cultures, and scenarios with text and graphic editors. The vendor plans additional mechanics, expanded modding support, and an official editor.
