Our take on Nano Shift
Its defining structure is a room-scale investigation that connects evidence across multiple locations and time periods, with physical controller interactions forming part of the mystery-solving process.
What is Nano Shift?
Nano Shift is a room-scale VR puzzle mystery set in a future where a Nano Virus has made much of Earth uninhabitable and killed 80% of its population.
As volunteer #137, the player begins in an underground compound before tracing evidence back more than half a century, when people could still live safely on the surface. The investigation crosses houses, prisons, and other locations while clues reveal who released the virus. Gameplay combines exploration, environmental storytelling, logical challenges, and dexterity-based interactions using tracked motion controllers. The game is divided into chapters. One complete chapter is available in early access, while two more are in development. The current release provides approximately one to one and a half hours of play time.
