Our take on Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Remastered
The defining setup pairs a confrontational American test pilot with a strict Japanese officer at an Alaskan weapons-development base, where their personal conflict unfolds alongside international efforts to counter the BETA.
What is Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Remastered?
This standalone story follows Yuuya Bridges, an American test pilot reassigned to Argus Flight after a fatal training accident.
At Yukon Base in Alaska, he joins an American-Japanese research team developing a new Tactical Surface Fighter for the Empire of Japan. His direct superior, Lieutenant Takamura Yui, is a disciplined Japanese officer whose past and commitment to duty put her at odds with Yuuya's confrontational attitude. Their conflict threatens the project as nations compete to obtain military secrets. The story takes place in 2001, decades after the BETA alien invasion conquered much of Eurasia. It presents another perspective on the war shown in Muv-Luv Alternative and includes the main game, but not the Burning of the Imperial Capital prelude.
