Our take on Moor
Its defining structure is a first-person descent through randomly generated dungeons inside a sealed mountain kingdom, with each run combining combat, puzzles, traps, secrets, loot, and progression.
What is Moor?
Enter the mountain of Moor and descend into a sealed ancient kingdom whose history is unknown.
This first-person roguelite dungeon crawler uses randomly generated dungeon layouts and pixelated graphics. Exploration combines combat against monsters and bosses with puzzles, hidden secrets, and traps. Loot can be gathered during each descent, while character progression comes through leveling up as the expedition moves deeper into the mountain. The central structure is an investigation of what happened to the forgotten kingdom beyond the mountain walls.
How Moor plays
- 01Randomized Dungeons
- Each descent uses generated dungeon layouts, making the mountain’s paths vary between runs.
- 02Monster Battles
- Combat includes encounters with ordinary enemies as well as bosses.
- 03Puzzle Exploration
- Progress through the underground kingdom by solving puzzles, uncovering secrets, and navigating traps.
- 04Loot And Levels
- Expeditions provide loot and character level increases as the player travels farther underground.
Moor compared to similar games
