Our take on Mooch
The story framing promises a search to restore Tula, but the playable emphasis is on navigating traps, enemies, and bosses. The ending varies with player choices, while the special hardcore ending is presented as an additional goal rather than the central route.
What is Mooch?
Mooch is an arcade adventure about Blink, a puppet escaping from an underground prison to find pieces of his friend Tula’s scattered soul.
The mines are ruled by the Puppet Master, whose machines and traps threaten Blink as he moves through three distinct worlds. Players rely on reflexes, agility, and tactical decisions to get past hazards, enemies, and bosses. The game includes more than 25 enemy types, nine bosses, and secret passages. Choices affect the story’s ending, and a separate ending is available for hardcore players. The graphics use hand-drawn assets. Play is available with a gamepad or with mouse and keyboard, and the supported languages are English, Russian, and Polish.
