What is Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX?
Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX combines Monster Rancher and Monster Rancher 2 in one collection.
Players acquire monsters, develop them through training, and enter battles. Online functions allow new monsters to be obtained and provide competitions against creatures raised by other players. The collection replaces the original CD-import method with a music database: searching CD titles generates monsters, including rare types that may have been difficult to obtain previously. Both games retain the original focus on raising, training, and competing with monsters while incorporating requested changes from series fans. Players can choose their own approach to developing a roster, from caring for monsters to following an intensive training routine.
