Our take on Monobeno-HAPPY END- Deluxe
The collection prioritizes narrative, character relationships, artwork, music, and voice acting, so it gives less emphasis to action-driven play. Its two-story structure also asks players to engage with a broader visual-novel narrative rather than a compact standalone scenario.
What is Monobeno-HAPPY END- Deluxe?
This visual novel combines the main Monobeno story with its follow-up in one edition.
Tooru Sawai returns to his isolated mountain village, where humans and monsters coexist, and reunites with his sister Natsuha, childhood friend Alice Arisma, and the red bear monster Sumi. After a summer festival, Natsuha suddenly develops an adult-sized body and suffers physically and mentally. Tooru investigates whether illness or a monster is responsible, drawing on medicine and local legends while seeking help from Alice or Sumi. The story includes romantic developments, questions about the past and future, and themes involving humans, monsters, disease, and haunting. This edition also brings together exclusive story content from the PSV and PC versions, alongside CG artwork, music, and voice acting.
