Hiroto returns from city life to his rural hometown and reunites with Ion, his childhood friend, who has become a freshwater mermaid.
He also meets Petakko, a mermaid with a short memory, and Rin, a shrine priestess with two distinct personalities. The visual novel follows their summer vacation amid mermaid legends and science-related mysteries. The PC edition has upgraded some backgrounds and changed the interface. It also removes some story branches that led to bad endings. The game is about 160,000 words long and includes Japanese voice acting.
