What is Mistwinter Bay?
Mistwinter Bay casts the player as sovereign of a growing fantasy town.
Choose buildings, decide who can settle, and assign townsfolk to tasks during events. Each resident has a profession, history, strengths, weaknesses, and opinions that respond to the sovereign’s actions. Monthly random events present choices affecting individuals, the town, and places beyond it. The sovereign can meet foreign leaders, form alliances or rivalries, and spend time with locals when reputation permits. Relationships may lead to marriage, while actions can also cause townsfolk to die. A character creator offers varied body types, faces, hairstyles, outfits, accessories, and color options. Town expansion can lead to adoption of one of four children, whose personalities and futures are shaped by interaction.
