Our take on Metal Bringer
Customization, ray tracing, and changing music receive prominent attention, but the cost of defeat is easier to overlook: installed apps are lost when Labor falls. Analyzed data preserves some progression, while active build choices can still disappear between runs.
What is Metal Bringer?
Metal Bringer follows Suria, who awakens from cryosleep and searches for the rest of humanity.
Players build android soldiers called Labor and have them pilot giant machines called Arms. Labor and Arms can be customized by changing appearances and swapping parts that alter fighting styles. Labor can install apps obtained from defeated enemies, but those installed apps are lost after a defeat. Analyzing app data makes it available for later Labor customization. Parts left by enemy Arms can also be collected, while analyzing blueprints unlocks additional machine customization options. The game uses real-time pixel-art generation, ray tracing, and music that changes according to the situation.
How Metal Bringer plays
- 01Custom Labor Builds
- Appearance changes, interchangeable parts, and apps let each android soldier use a different configuration.
- 02Giant Arms Machines

- 03Run-Based Progression

- 04Blueprint Analysis
- Studying Arms blueprints unlocks additional options for configuring machines.
- 05Dynamic Presentation
- Real-time pixel-art generation, ray tracing, and situation-responsive music shape the game's visual and audio presentation.
