Our take on Mekkablood: Quarry Assault
The presentation gives substantial attention to Bill’s revenge story and collectible cockpit items, while the playable scope is described mainly through basic shooting, saw attacks, and one hidden area per level. It offers little sense of campaign scale or progression structure.
What is Mekkablood: Quarry Assault?
Set in 2082, this first-person mech shooter follows Bill, a former trucker and robojockey defending his Fluxiam-7 mining claim from TorxCorp.
With help from Rusty, he sets out to recover stolen dashboard figurines and rescue Beth. Combat takes place from inside the mech, combining a retro FPS format with a large robot’s movement and weaponry. Players can attack enemies from range with guns or close in with paired saws. Each level contains a hidden area holding collectible figurines or additional cockpit items. Recovered objects appear inside the cockpit and move with the mech during action.
How Mekkablood: Quarry Assault plays
- 01Cockpit Combat
- The action is viewed from inside Bill’s mech rather than through an external camera.
- 02Mixed Weapons
- Combat includes ranged firearms alongside two saws for close encounters.
- 03Hidden Collectibles
- A concealed area in every level contains dashboard figures or other cockpit decorations.
- 04Animated Cockpit
- Collected objects remain visible inside the cockpit and move as the mech fights.
