Players may hit a wall when a machine’s behavior depends on its construction and driving, especially in stages with restricted blocks. The later campaign levels are presented as particularly difficult, so the difficulty spike may arrive during the final portion rather than at the basic building stage.
What is MechoEcho?
MechoEcho combines block-based robot construction, vehicle control, and 3D puzzle solving in a cyberpunk setting.
Players switch between human and machine forms while navigating 40 levels: 30 from the original campaign and 10 additional difficult stages. Machines can include walkers, catapults, climbing robots, or nested constructions, with some puzzles limiting the available blocks. A Sandbox level provides unlimited blocks for unrestricted robot building. The physics system makes machines respond to their construction and controls. Exploration includes drops, hostile creatures, art deco structures, and electronic music. A fragmented story follows Echo through a computer simulation and memories connected to humanity’s collapse.
