Our take on MechaJourney
Its defining structure is placement-based progression: teams complete tasks and gather resources while the player waits for revenue and chooses when to unlock capabilities or launch campaigns.
What is MechaJourney?
MechaJourney combines placement-based progression with mecha customization and town management.
Players send seekers on tasks to earn rewards, collect materials, and improve their capabilities while waiting for income from completed activities. Mechas can be designed, manufactured, modified with weapons, chips, and components, and strengthened through upgrades. Pilots can be trained and matched with suitable machines, while partners can join teams for shared missions. Town development provides another management layer, including skill unlocks, campaign timing, and expanded town and team capacity. Exploration can reveal mining areas and research sites. Combat includes normal battles, assaults with limited personnel, and larger conquests against D&D forces.
