Saves you a refund- Players looking for frequent direct input may find the hover-and-automation loop hands-off.

- Players looking for action combat or a story-driven campaign may find the collection-focused scope limited.
Our take on Energy Collector
Its automation and parallel fields reduce the need for direct moment-to-moment play, trading active input for long-running resource management. That focus leaves less room for action-oriented play, while upgrades and prestige provide the main route for continued progression.
What is Energy Collector?
Energy Collector is an idle game centered on gathering energy and allocating it across fields.
Collect energy by hovering over it, or purchase upgrades to automate gathering. Resources can be moved between fields, and each one runs independently; up to eight operate at once. Progress systems include energy and player levels, upgrades for the Hub and fields, companion enhancements, power-ups, and prestige resets that provide lasting upgrades. Players can customize a companion, decorate the Hub, complete occasional quests, and take part in an expedition mode whose play has effects on the main game. Offline progress is supported. The game also has leaderboards, Steam Cloud saves, and over 500 achievements. Additional features are introduced gradually.
How Energy Collector plays
- 01Eight Simultaneous Fields
- Each field functions as a separate idle game, with resources transferable between fields.
- 02Automated Collection
- Upgrades can take over energy gathering after initial collection by hovering.
- 03Layered Progression
- Progress can come from levels, Hub and field upgrades, companion enhancements, power-ups, and permanent bonuses from prestige resets.
- 04Expedition Side Game
- Expedition play has an effect on the main game.
- 05Steam Cloud Saves
- Save data can be continued across locations through Steam Cloud.
