What is MachiaVillain?
MachiaVillain is a mansion-management strategy game about building a horror-themed estate and running it with a team of monsters.
Players construct rooms such as crypts, laboratories, pools, and kitchens, then assign minions with distinct traits, needs, and fighting styles to carry out tasks and clean up. Locals are lured into the mansion, where traps and minions can kill them; victims and materials gathered from the environment also provide ingredients for crafting. Hostile creatures and monster hunters may attack the property.
The game ties reputation to following horror-film conventions: victims should be killed when alone, the virgin should be last, and the dog should not be harmed. Its management loop combines construction, staff needs, combat, crafting, and rules about how villains behave.
