Our take on Lovanium - The Rising Suns
Rather than using a standard day-and-night pattern, the game makes four different suns part of its progression systems. Their effects alter gathering, monster behavior, customer traffic, sales, and energy, tying environmental timing directly to exploration and commerce.
What is Lovanium - The Rising Suns?
Lovanium is a 2D RPG about Captain Sasha and her crew, who must repair their ship before a wormhole closes and traps them in an unknown galaxy.
Progress combines combat, resource gathering, trading, quests, and exploration with metroidvania elements. Players can operate three village businesses: a flower shop, food market, and jewelry store. Flowers, food, fish, fruit, mined stones, and other materials support the trading system. Lovanium has no night; instead, four suns change conditions throughout the daily cycle. Their effects include altered drops, monster activity, customer visits, sales tips, and energy loss. Crew members from four specialties assign tasks connected to the journey home.
