Our take on LOOTPLOT
The defining structure is a round-by-round scoring test: items are arranged in slots to generate points, and falling short of the target ends the run.
What is LOOTPLOT?
LOOTPLOT is a points-based roguelite centered on building an inventory from items with distinct effects.
Items occupy slots, and arranging them generates points. Each round requires a target score; failing to reach it ends the run. Players can buy and rearrange items, then combine their effects to develop different strategies. The game includes over 300 items with varying rarities, starter items for different opening scenarios, many slot types, secrets, Easter eggs, and seasonal items for Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. The game supports modding, and all of its content was implemented as source-public mods. Cats also appear as unpredictable elements that can disrupt play.
