Our take on Loot Tycoon
The defining structure is an automated dungeon loop in which the player decides when to retreat, then sells the resulting loot and reinvests the proceeds into further progression.
What is Loot Tycoon?
Loot Tycoon combines automated dungeon combat with shop management in a dark-fantasy idle RPG.
The player controls a merchant-adventurer rather than a traditional hero: equipment and runes determine combat behavior while the character farms dungeons without direct combat input. Loot from defeated enemies is automatically stocked and sold in the shop, generating Gold for stat upgrades and higher-tier Runes. Players choose whether to retreat with current earnings or continue into deeper areas for rarer, more valuable rewards. Randomized equipment affixes and hundreds of effects support different build combinations, including fire, lightning, and Berserker-focused setups. Adventure Rank has no cap, with stronger enemies, increased rewards, and additional rune and equipment systems at higher tiers.
How Loot Tycoon plays
- 01Automated Dungeon Combat
- Equipment and runes shape battles while the character fights without direct combat control.
- 02Automatic Shop Trading
- Recovered gear is placed for sale, producing Gold that can be spent on progression.
- 03Risk-Based Expeditions
- Retreating secures current earnings, while continuing deeper increases enemy strength and potential loot value.
- 04Randomized Build System
- Hundreds of effects and randomized equipment affixes support varied rune and gear combinations.
- 05Uncapped Adventure Rank
- Higher tiers introduce stronger enemies, more valuable rewards, and additional rune and equipment systems.
