Our take on Looper Tactics
The store page gives substantial attention to deck building, map choices, permanent growth, and the fantasy narrative, while combat is handled through auto-battler encounters. Players expecting direct control over each attack or spell may find the combat role narrower than the card-battle framing suggests.
What is Looper Tactics?
Looper Tactics combines deck building, card-based RPG progression, roguelike elements, and auto-battler combat.
Players move across a board-style map, choosing whether to advance or retreat and which tiles to explore. Tiles can lead to battles, events, treasure hunts, blessings, or card trades. Battles provide resources and allow minions to improve their attributes through abilities, attacks, and spells, with these changes lasting through the adventure. Enemies grow stronger as the journey continues, while new allies and creatures expand the deck. Minions belong to Demons, Elves, Mechs, Elementals, or Dragons, and each has two forms. Race mechanics, units, and spells support different combat styles before the ultimate battle on each level.
