Players who expect puzzles to be solved through observation alone may hit a wall when they need to apply abilities and other available tools to progress. The resource loop adds another hurdle: gathering materials feeds into crafting and upgrades, so players who want to move through areas without progression systems may stall.
What is Lodestar?
Lodestar is a puzzle-adventure crafting game set across a journey through space.
Explore handcrafted planets, solve puzzles in new areas, and use different abilities to navigate challenging environments. Gather resources and mine asteroids to develop abilities and craft resources for purchasing upgrades. The campaign can be played alone or with online co-op for up to 8 friends. Hostile planets contain monsters and bosses, while the journey also involves uncovering what happened to the previous crew and trying to communicate with an intelligent species. Progression includes new abilities and upgrades that support exploration and survival.
