Our take on Locked
The main bounce point is the short runtime: players expecting a full-length mystery will reach the conclusion in about an hour. Those seeking gameplay beyond reading, choosing, and following the story may also stop at the visual-novel format rather than the mansion premise.
What is Locked?
Maks searches for a waitress who has been missing from the bar he regularly visits.
His investigation leads him to an abandoned mansion associated with rumors and criminal stories. This visual novel follows Maks, who is trying to organize his life after finishing his studies, and Hoshi, the red-haired waitress he has been afraid to ask on a date. Players make choices during the story, with decisions leading to different endings.
