Our take on Link: The Unleashed Nexus
Its defining structure is an upward escape built around staying airborne: the player bounds over enemies, then combines gliding and dashing to find a way out before returning for time-attack play.
What is Link: The Unleashed Nexus?
Link: The Unleashed Nexus is a high-difficulty, fast-paced action game set in HAVEN, a world controlled by a stone called the Nexus that limits human thought.
After waking in its bottommost layer, the player must leap across foes, glide, and dash without stopping while seeking an escape. Reaching the goal involves rapid movement and several mechanics. With no cutscenes or dialogue, the game centers on direct play. One run is enough to finish the main route, after which the stage can be revisited for time attacks. A complete overhaul is planned for a later release.
