Our take on Aero GPX

Races begin with 30 machines on the circuit and finish with significantly fewer, making the crowded field a defining part of the experience.

What is Aero GPX?

Aero GPX is an anti-gravity racing game built around high-speed flight and combat between machines.

Each race starts with 30 machines on the circuit and ends with significantly fewer. Attacks use the machine itself: Slam and Spin moves can disrupt or destroy opponents, but also put the attacking machine’s health and integrity at risk. Pilots can fly through Airborne Slipstreams, use homing attacks, dodge obstacles, or drill dive in and out of them to build speed. The physics system lets machines drive across surfaces in different orientations in 3D space. Tracks include jumps, challenges, and obstacles, while AI opponents have varied personalities and compete for the finish.

How Aero GPX plays

01Machine-based combat
Slam and Spin attacks can damage opponents while putting the attacking machine’s condition at risk.
02Airborne slipstreams
Flight paths support homing attacks, obstacle dodges, and drill dives that build speed.
03Three-dimensional physics
Machines can drive on surfaces in different orientations in 3D space.
04Thirty-machine races
Each race begins with 30 machines on the circuit and finishes with significantly fewer.

GRIP: Combat Racing also combines anti-gravity racing and combat, while Aero GPX centers its attacks on the machines themselves and adds flight through Airborne Slipstreams. The Drone Racing League Simulator focuses on realistic FPV drone flight and racing, whereas Aero GPX uses anti-gravity machines, combat, and tracks with varied surface orientations.
