Our take on Liberation
Its defining structure is a stripped-back space RPG that places tighter combat and a rebellion storyline ahead of extensive trading.
What is Liberation?
Liberation is a single-player space combat RPG set in an open universe ruled by the Galactic Federation.
Players pilot an elite stealth ship, upgrade its weapons and systems, fight in dogfights, and dock at space stations and planetary ports. The game includes 20 systems to explore, including a desert planet whose residents live inside a domed city and a dense nebula where scanners cannot function. Heroes and villains can become part of the rebellion against GalFed. Trading is reduced in favor of tighter combat, more story, and a lore-focused setting. The game uses low-polygon visuals with dynamic lighting, volumetric fog, physics, and dozens of ships. Keyboard, mouse, and gamepad controls are supported, and the game is DRM-free.
