Our take on Letterlike
The defining detail is the run structure: words are formed from changing letter sets while upgrades, items, and boss encounters shape each build.
What is Letterlike?
Letterlike is a challenging roguelike word game based on forming words from a bag of letters.
Runs involve collecting cards and items, improving words and letter tiles, and combining upgrades into different builds. Letters, items, and bosses are procedurally generated, creating changing choices across runs. A boss appears at the end of each level, with abilities that can work against the player. Multiple bags and difficulty settings add progression, while gems provide access to upgrades. New Game+ offers another test for developed builds. Players create words of different lengths, score points, and choose upgrades that work together to pursue higher scores and complete each run.
