The local cooperative format keeps the focus on shared couch play, but sacrifices online and LAN multiplayer. The current structure also gives up campaign breadth, since story content and additional modes are listed as future plans rather than existing features.
What is Legends of Time?
Legends of Time is a local split-screen multiplayer hack-and-slash game centered on cooperative battles against waves of enemies.
Players choose from four characters, each with different statistics, and share a limited number of lives while taking on the enemy waves. The game is set around the Nostradamacon, a book containing Nostradamus's major predictions and a threat connected to the fate of time. The world is still being developed, with upcoming level designs available to explore. Planned additions include weapon components, weapon customization, more levels, a single-player or cooperative story campaign, versus play, and LAN multiplayer.
