Our take on Last Train Outta' Wormtown
Instead of keeping players on one side of a chase, Wormtown lets a player become the pursuing sandworm. The cowboys’ escape objectives also hinge on avoiding contact with the ground, making movement itself part of the detection system.
What is Last Train Outta' Wormtown?
Last Train Outta' Wormtown is an online multiplayer game that pits cowboys against a sandworm.
As a cowboy, work with other players to complete objectives and escape, using running, jumping, climbing, and tools to move through the environment. The worm detects players who touch the ground, so staying above the sand matters. Alternatively, play as the worm, burrow underground, and use special abilities to stop the cowboys from leaving.
Matches support up to 16 players, with randomized map layouts and customizable settings. The game also includes player customization and more than 100 challenges with cosmetic unlocks. A Friend’s Pass lets other players join a lobby for free when its host owns the game; the public lobby browser and challenges are unavailable to Friend’s Pass players.
