Our take on Larcin Lazer
The memory-first design makes observation and recall central, but it limits spontaneous movement: progressing through a stage requires retaining hazard positions before committing to a route. The bonus stages extend that same demand rather than shifting toward a different gameplay style.
What is Larcin Lazer?
Larcin Lazer combines puzzle solving, action, and stealth around a memory-based movement system.
Each level presents lasers and hazards whose positions must be remembered before movement makes the lasers disappear. Players navigate courses while avoiding guards, teleporters, locks, ghosts, giant laser barriers, unusual buttons, and other obstacles. The game includes more than 170 screens across five worlds, each with its own visual and audio atmosphere. A story unfolds through cartoon cutscenes involving thefts from bankers and an attempt to save a cat. Hint mode provides assistance, while bonus stages add particularly difficult challenges for players seeking harder memory tests. Jazzy music accompanies the heist-focused progression.
How Larcin Lazer plays

- Laser positions vanish after movement begins, requiring players to remember their locations before crossing each area.
- 02Varied Obstacles

- 03Five Themed Worlds
- The game divides its content into five worlds with distinct visual and sound settings.
- 04Heist Story
- Cartoon cutscenes connect the levels to thefts from bankers and a cat-rescue objective.
- 05Bonus Challenges
- Additional stages provide extra difficulty for players looking for tougher memory-based puzzles.
