What is Landnama?
Lead an Icelandic Viking clan through a rogue-lite settlement campaign shaped by exploration, construction, and winter survival.
Choose among clans with different skills, investigate regions, find hidden challenges and landmarks, and develop a settlement before the season drains its remaining Heart. Heart is the sole resource, and it can be earned through activities such as hunting or developing a production-focused community. Each region presents increasing challenges, and failed attempts offer no second chance. The game combines settlement building with dungeon-crawler-style discovery, while replacing Viking combat and raiding with environmental pressure. A constantly advancing winter creates a race against time, although time can also be paused to examine the settlement, its animated inhabitants, atmospheric music, and artwork.
