Kromaia is a PC shoot-'em-up set in three-dimensional space rather than along a fixed route.

Enemy behavior adjusts to performance, making later encounters tougher as play improves. Completing objectives leads to battles with enormous bosses. Four spacecraft offer different combat approaches, including rapid-fire weapons, homing projectiles, heavy blasts, and close-range strikes. The game combines arcade shooting with free movement, requiring high-speed piloting and aiming across a 360-degree battlefield.
