Our take on Korea. IL-2 Series
The focus on Korean War aviation gives the game a defined historical identity, but also limits its aircraft and setting to that period. Its detailed systems and command layer add management responsibilities for players who want flight sessions without broader campaign administration.
What is Korea. IL-2 Series?
Korea.
IL-2 Series is a flight simulator set during the Korean War, featuring early jet fighters and piston-engine aircraft. Players can fly 15 historical missions in the Home by Christmas campaign or manage personnel, logistics, readiness, and operations as an air regiment commander. The game includes eight aircraft, fully functional cockpit instruments, a detailed damage model, and a combat map covering over 200,000 square kilometers. It supports gamepads, joysticks, HOTAS systems, and VR through OpenXR and OpenVR.
