Our take on KnightOut
Rather than treating the arena as a fixed combat space, KnightOut makes fortification part of each match. Teams build defenses before fighting, then revise their castles between rounds, combining party brawling with a changing tactical structure.
What is KnightOut?
KnightOut is a local party brawler for one to four players, with solo play, couch co-op, and online sessions through Steam Remote Play Together.
Matches combine combat with castle construction: teams place defenses and cannons, then attack the opposing stronghold and defeat its king or queen. The first team to score three knockouts wins, with opportunities to rebuild between rounds. Story mode follows a short campaign across handcrafted levels, while Arcade mode has players defend a castle against enemy waves and spend dropped gold on upgrades. The game includes four battleground layouts, 16 buildable weapons and defenses, melee and ranged attacks, and unlockable kingdoms in the campaign.
