Our take on King of Snatchers
Solo players will bounce off at the starting line: local play requires at least two participants. Groups may also hit a control hurdle when a round switches from controller play to keyboard entry for data.
What is King of Snatchers?
A narrative-focused party game for two to four people sharing a screen, with competition played mainly through controllers.
Players work for a future AI, visiting selected locations and collecting information through a range of contests. Challenges include keeping an item until a countdown finishes, transporting it to a destination, navigating airborne obstacle courses, defending hidden responses, and finding a concealed term with category-based questions. Certain events let participants shove rivals away, while the word-identification round supports cooperative local play. Story Mode links the investigated locations and gathered clues to an inquiry about a disaster yet to occur. Keyboard input is needed for data-entry activities. Online sessions can use Steam Remote Play or another remote-play program.
