We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Single-player RPG fans who want guild management alongside combat preparation
- Strategy players who enjoy trying different equipment combinations for heroes
- Players who prefer planning parties and formations before automated battles
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want to issue attack commands during combat may hit a wall when battles begin and heroes fight automatically.
- Players who prefer battles without a preparation phase may find the need to assess enemies, position heroes, and equip a party a poor fit.
- Players looking for multiplayer sessions will not find them in this single-player game.
Our take on Kilta
The bounce point arrives when combat begins: after party positioning, enemy checks, equipment choices, and Guildmaster skills, heroes fight on their own. Players who want to command attacks during the encounter may stop there, since control is concentrated in preparation rather than ongoing combat.
What is Kilta?
Kilta is a single-player strategy RPG about managing a newly established guild.
Recruit heroes with their own characteristics, abilities, and dialogue, then assign parties to quests and commissions. Review enemy abilities and formations before each battle, position heroes, equip weapons and other items, and grant the party Guildmaster skills. Combat runs automatically after preparation. Items can come from quests and dialogue, and the blacksmith combines surplus items into stronger equipment. Heroes have no character-specific item restrictions. Dialogue choices can resolve conflicts between guild members and may affect later battles. The game features pixel art in a 2. 5D environment and includes an accessibility mode.
